Season 03 – Subjunctive Chaos
Welcome to Season 03, where Portuguese stops being “cute and simple” and becomes gloriously chaotic. This is the land of the subjunctive mood — three tenses, endless headaches, and the perfect excuse for Brazilians to complain even more.
-
With the Present Subjunctive, you’ll learn how to dream about vacations in Brazil, wish your money would last longer, and panic about Artificial Intelligence stealing your job.
-
With the Future Subjunctive, you’ll enter the world of impossible promises, thanks to our beloved Valdisnei, candidate of the Party of Compulsive Liars. If you win the lottery… if the aliens invade… if politicians ever tell the truth (don’t hold your breath).
-
With the Past Subjunctive, you’ll dive into regrets, inventions, and absurd “what if” scenarios. If you had studied harder, maybe you wouldn’t be here reading this.
By the end of this season, you’ll mix all three tenses like a pro, argue about politics, complain about life, and create conspiracy theories in Portuguese. In other words: you’ll sound almost Brazilian.
