Season One

• Grammar: Present tense (so you can actually talk about your life), ser and estar (yes, two verbs for “to be,” good luck), the gerúndio (our version of -ING), future conditional (I would buy a caipirinha if I had money), articles, gender (masculine and feminine), and adjectives.

• Vocabulary: Daily routines, food, hobbies, movies, music, clothes, occupations,shopping, family, home, and—of course—how to complain about the weather like a true Brazilian.

• Culture: From meals and fashion to everyday chaos, you’ll see how Brazilians actually live, talk, and laugh.

 

By the end of this module, you’ll be able to:

✔️ Introduce yourself without sounding like Google Translate.
✔️ Order food, talk about your routine, your family, and even what you’re wearing.
✔️ Survive shopping, Brazilian small talk, and random conversations about soccer, novelas, or why it’s “too hot, too cold, or raining too much.”
✔️ Actually communicate with Brazilians — not perfectly, but enough to make friends, survive daily life, and maybe get invited to a barbecue.

 

Season One is A1 level: simple, fun, and full of humor. It’s your passport to start speaking Portuguese with confidence from day one.
